JASON TERPACK
JASON TERPACK was born and raised in the Inland Empire of Southern California. Coming from a broken home and a modest upbringing, Jason’s early life was marked by both challenges and resilience. Despite the difficulties, he made a life-changing decision to follow Christ at a young age, feeling a strong call into ministry even while still in high school.
A graduate of John W. North High School in Riverside, Jason served as the President of B.A.S.I.C. (Brothers and Sisters in Christ), the Christian Club on campus, where he actively shared the Gospel with his peers. He was also deeply involved in the local Christian community, speaking at various area High School Bible Clubs and organizing a conference designed to support and equip Christian student leaders.
After graduation, Jason enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he was deployed twice overseas in response to the events of 9/11 and the Second Gulf War. During his time in the military, Jason earned several medals and completed his bachelor’s degree. His exemplary service and leadership led to his early promotion to Staff Sergeant, and after nearly six years of dedicated service, he was honorably discharged.
Following his military service, Jason used his GI Bill to pursue higher education, earning a Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Seminary in Kansas City. It was also during this time that he met and married his wife, Stephenie, in 2008, marking the beginning of a lifelong partnership in ministry.
Jason went on to pastor several small churches, including one in Kansas where he and Stephenie were blessed with their son, John. In this role, Jason also wrote a book on Baptism to address doctrinal issues left behind by a previous pastor, a project that deeply shaped his pastoral journey.
Throughout his life, Jason has been drawn to Eastern Orthodoxy, a tradition that first intrigued him during his military service. The appeal of its historical claims, stability, and mentorship by father figures resonated with him on a profound level. Jason spent several years exploring and participating in the Orthodox Church, and his experiences in this tradition have greatly influenced his perspective on Christian apologetics, particularly as he has created video content addressing Eastern Orthodoxy.
Currently, Jason ministers online through social media platforms and serves as a guest speaker, where he continues to share his journey, insights, and passion for the Gospel with a broad audience. With a heart for equipping others and a deep commitment to truth, Jason remains dedicated to using his experiences and knowledge to impact lives both locally and globally.
