JASON TERPACK
JASON TERPACK was born and raised in the Inland Empire of Southern California. He comes from a twice-broken home and grew up in a less than well-to-do household. Jason made a decision to follow Christ at a young age and felt called into the ministry while still in High School.
Jason is a graduate of John W. North High School in Riverside, where he served as the President of B.A.S.I.C. (Brothers and Sisters in Christ)-the Christian Club sharing the Gospel with students on their public-school campus. He also worked with other area High School Bible Clubs, guest speaking at many of them and organizing a Conference to support Christian Student Leaders.
After graduation, Jason joined the United States Air Force, deploying twice overseas in response to 9/11 and the Second Gulf War. He completed his bachelor’s degree while on active duty and in addition to the medals he received, he was promoted early to Staff Sergeant and was granted an honorable discharge after nearly six years of service.
Following the military, Jason went on to Seminary, using his GI BILL, and earned his Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Seminary in Kansas City. This is also where he met and married his beautiful wife, Stephenie in 2008.
Jason pastored a couple of small churches after graduating, most significantly a congregation in Kansas, where Jason and Stephenie were blessed with their wonderful son, John. Here, Jason also wrote his book on Baptism to correct doctrinal damage his predecessor had done.
Eastern Orthodoxy attracted him on a back-and-forth basis ever since Jason’s time in the military. The stability they offered as well as mentorship by father figures was a big appeal as well as their claims of historicity. Jason spent several years in the “Orthodox” Church. This is what informed his perspective in creating his apologetics videos on EO.
Jason currently ministers online, through social media, and as a Guest Speaker.
